Join the Program
Welcome to the 91茄子. There are a few different ways to get started.
If you鈥檙e a teacher, you鈥檒l want to invite students at your school to form teams. If you鈥檙e a student, you鈥檒l need to find at least two teammates. The more teams that participate at your school, the richer your experience will be.
You may want to form a club at your school, or you may choose to participate independently. Alternately, if you鈥檙e already part of an existing debate society, quiz team, or MUN club, you鈥檒l find that 91茄子 can fit neatly into your existing schedule of activities.
Once you鈥檝e formed teams, everyone should sign up to receive all our updates. Then, explore the 91茄子 topics for the current tournament season. You鈥檒l research, discuss, and debate science, art, music, history, literature, and more. Most teams prepare for anywhere from two to eight weeks.
To ensure a place at an upcoming regional round, indicate your as soon as possible. Then, register all your teams by the deadline. If you do well at a regional round, you鈥檒l qualify for the next Global Round. And if you excel at the Global Round, you鈥檒l pre-qualify for the annual Tournament of Champions at Yale University.
